JANESVILLE (KWWL) -- The Janesville Wildcats moved to 7-0 on Friday night with a homecoming win over Clarksville in 8-player action.
The Wildcats moved the ball seemingly at will at times in the first half on the way to a 38-14 halftime lead. The highlight of the half for the Wildcats came in the form of Bo Murley's 77 yard touchdown run early in the second quarter.
Janesville poured it on in the second half, extending their lead to thirty-six points and finishing the game under a continuous clock. The Wildcats made it a happy homecoming with a 56-22 victory.
Janesville coach Jason Sullivan is optimistic that his team's defensive talent could propel them to a deep playoff run this season.
