Athlete of the Week: Colin Tenney

Aplington-Parkersburg is known for their running game and this season they've had three different players run for 100 yards in a game.  Our Athlete of the Week is flying past his teammates.

Outside the Falcons practice field, there's a sign that says, "Fight Hard Every Yard."  Nobody embodies that mantra more than Colin Tenney.

Through five games, the senior fullback leads the run-happy Falcons in rushing with 868 yards for a team-high 17 touchdowns.

Just two week ago, Tenney set a school record with 343 yards in a 50-32 win over Nashua-Plainfield.  He jumped over Detroit Lions defensive end Jared DeVries.

With a perfect record and a #1 ranking so far, Colin Tenney says his Falcons are not content.  If the team improves as much as Tenney has, it wouldn't be a surprise if A-P finishes the season number one.
