Dr. Richard Valente is an interventional cardiologist and attended the University of California/Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, California. He conducted his residency training at the University of California in San Diego, and his cardiology and interventional cardiology fellowship training at Pacific Presbyterian Medical Center in San Francisco, California.
Dr. Valente served as an associate professor for the department of internal medicine at the University of California/Davis Medical Center in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine in Sacramento, California. He also served as the director of the cardiac catheterization lab and interventional cardiology at the University of California/Davis Medical Center.
Dr. Valente has been at Covenant Medical Center since 2007 and is one of two interventional cardiologists who helped lead the way in the digital upgrade of Covenant Medical Center's cath lab this past spring.
Dr. Valente is board certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine, the American Board of Cardiovascular Medicine and the American Board of Interventional Cardiology. He is also a Fellow with the American College of Cardiology.
