Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist - President

Dennis Clark serves as president of Clark & Associates Prosthetics and Orthotics. He is responsible for promoting personal and professional growth for all employees and clients of Clark & Associates.

Clark understands the number one goal of Clark & Associates is to do the best for the people they serve. "By listening to the goals and objectives of our patients we are able to create pathways to help them achieve their goals," Clark said. This conviction has led Clark to be awarded the Distinguished Practitioner Award in 2003 from the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists.

Clark has had a successful career in the orthotics and prosthetics field. From 1998 to 2000, he served as the vice president of Hanger Orthotics. In 1997, he served as the vice president of Nova Care Orthotics and Prosthetics. In 1987, he purchased Dale Clark Prosthetics, where he served as president/CEO for ten years. Prior to becoming president, he served as a staff orthotist at the practice owned and operated by his father from 1978 to 1987. From 1977 to 1978 he taught at Northwestern University in the orthotics and prosthetics program.

Clark received his bachelor of arts degree from the University of Iowa. He completed the orthotics and prosthetics program at Northwestern University and is certified by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics. He has served as past president of Region 7 and American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association. Clark has served on the board of directors of the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists, as well as past president of the American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics.

He is currently on the VA sub committee for AOPA and is the executive director of Orthotic Prosthetic Group of America. He is also president of Orthotics and Prosthetics One, Inc., Central Fabrication, a nationally known orthotic and prosthetic outsourcing company.

He also serves on the Covenant Foundation Board. Clark currently resides in Waterloo, Iowa with his wife Susan. They have two children, Brandt and Sarah.
