Cascade Up Ends Top 10 Team Sumner-Fredericksburg

Sumner-Fredericksburg came into this Friday night's game with one of the top defenses in the state. The Cougars only allowed tow touchdowns in their first two games. Cascade, on the other hand, enter the game averaging nearly 26-points a game.

The Cascade Cougars would strike first. Their first play of their second series in the first quarter, Quarterback Connor Redmond rolls out to his right and lofts it deep down field to a wide open number 44 Jesse Beringor who runs it in for a n 80-yard touchdown strike. 7 to zero Cascade.

Sumner-Fredericksburg would not take long to strike back. Number 9 Mitchell Schmitt receives a screen pass from Quarterback Keegan Frisch and Schmitt tip toes his way through defenders down the sideline for a 35-yard gain.  That play would sent up a 5 yard touchdown run from number 26 Gage Mohs, tieing the game 7 a piece.

The second half would be all Cascade, scoring 35 points to Sumner-Fredericksburg's 20 points. Cascade would end the game with 238 yards through the air and 184 on the ground. Cascade improves their record to 4 and 0, while Sumner-Fredericksburg drops to 3 and 1.
