Battling through media distractions and a very emotional night Aplington-Parkersburg completed a successful homecoming beating West Marshall 53-20 last week in Parkersburg. One week later the Falcons square off against the unbeaten Grundy Center Spartans.

Second play of the game. Aplington-Parkersburg Quarterback Alec Thompson hands of to 190-pounder Colen Tenney. Tenney sprints past everyone for a 60-yard touchdown.

The Grundy Center Spartans waisted no time evening up the score. Quarterback Taylor Appel finds Dalton Wrage behind the secondary. Wrage darts 69-yards for a touchdown tieing the game at 7 a piece.

Two plays later A-P does it again with Riley Uben scampering 42 yards for a touchdown. The Falcons would run away with this one 60 to 13 the final score. A-P improves to 3-0, while Grundy Center falls to 2-1.
