Winning is nothing new to Mid-Prairie senior Aaron Stockstell, last year he won three 2A state titles. Last Friday, he anchored a 1600 meter sprint medley team that captured his school of 300 students a title on the biggest stage, the Drake Relays.

Stockstell now specializes in the 400 and 800 meter events but when he first came out for track, he told coach hollan something completely different.

Name a famous college or university and you can bet they've been hot on Aaron's recrutiing trail. Alabama won the hectic sweepstakes making Stockstell the first division one runner to come out of Mid-Prairie.

Four years ago, Aaron says he found track by accident. In eighth grade, his ride to school decided to go out for the team and Aaron didn't have much of a choice. Four year from now, Aaron hopes to make the 2012 Olympic Trials.
