KWWL's Mark Woodley and Jessica Hartman are going to be strutting their stuff to raise money for charity.
On June 30, they'll be joining 6 other local celebrities for Cedar Valley Dancing With the Stars.
The event is being put on by the Family & Children's Council of Black Hawk County.
Also on the ticket:
* Deb Berry, KBBG Radio
* Kristle Davis, Kaden’s Kloset
* Pastor Q, Hope City Church
* Elisha Palmer, Knox Blocks
* Bob Kressig, Iowa House of Representatives
* Chuck Rowe, Boys & Girls Club of the Cedar Valley
The event is happening on Saturday at the Gallagher Bluedorn Performing Arts Center in Cedar Falls.
Tickets are $50 and can be purchased at the door; all of the proceeds are going towards keeping children safe.
Cocktail hour begins at 6:00 p.m. and the curtain goes up at 7:30.
“These men and women are true stars of our community…they are the ‘do-ers’. It’s been overwhelming to watch them work so hard these past few months for this event. It’s all because they share our belief that every child deserves a happy, healthy and safe childhood,” said Amanda Goodman, Executive Director of FCC.
