Storms in western Iowa tonight will fall apart as they move east. There is a potential for a few showers in eastern Iowa late tonight before they completely fall apart. The humidity level remains low tonight and Thursday morning. The humidity level increases Thursday afternoon and is very humid Thursday night through Monday.

A few storms are possible at any time Thursday and Thursday night. A couple might linger into Friday across northern Iowa. Friday through Monday is HOT and HUMID. High temperatures reach the 90s with the heat index during the day 100+. It doesn't cool off much with low temperatures in the mid 70s during this stretch. Use caution in this dangerous heat. Cooler and less humid conditions return Tuesday after a chance of storms Monday.
