It's National Doughnut Day.

National Doughnut Day originally began as a way to commemorate the women who served doughnuts to soldiers during World War I.

At Dunkin' Donuts, you can get any classic doughnut free when you buy a drink.

Walmart is also celebrating. They are giving away one free glazed doughnut per customer.

Here are also some doughnut fun facts: more than 10 billion doughnuts are made in the U.S. every year and the average person eats 31 doughnuts per year.
