No threat found after North Butler school lockdown

BUTLER COUNTY (KWWL) -

North Butler Junior High and High School were briefly on lockdown Wednesday morning due to a possible outside threat.

North Butler Schools Superintendent Joel Foster posted to Facebook saying the building was immediately placed on lockdown around 10:30 a.m. to restrict access, and all students, who were working outside, were brought into the building. The post says that Sheriff Johnson quickly arrived on scene and was able to locate the subject, which allowed the school to return to normal function within about a 40-minute timespan.
