BREMER COUNTY (KWWL) -

The Bremer County Sheriff’s Office posted to Facebook, reminding people to be safe this holiday weekend.

In the post, they say this weekend they will be out 24/7 enforcing all traffic and criminal laws. They ask that people please remember to buckle up and follow all traffic laws, especially with it being Memorial Day weekend.

Here is what the Facebook Post says:

The Bremer County Sheriff’s Office would like to remind those traveling through Bremer County that we are out 24/7 enforcing all traffic and criminal laws. During this holiday weekend we are participating in STEP in attempt to make the roadways more safe for those who choose to follow the laws. This individual thought it was more important to get to their destination quickly instead of safely. Please remember to arrive alive by buckling up and following all traffic laws, especially this Memorial Day weekend when the roadways will be busier.
