Andrea Farrington murder highlighted in 'The Killer Beside Me' TV show

A TV show highlights a Coralville murder case.

Investigation Discovery's The Killer Beside Me highlights 20-year-old Andrea Farrington's murder. In the episode "Never Predicted," it shows how Farrington's potential romance with a fellow employee ends in deadly consequences.

Back in 2015, 22-year-old Alex Kozak, of North Liberty, shot Farrington three times inside the Coral Ridge Mall. She worked as an employee of the Iowa Children's Museum. She later died at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

Kozak was arrested and charged with first-degree murder. In April 2016, a jury convicted him, and he was later sentenced to life in prison, without the possibility for parole.

Investigation Discovery says the show "exposes the dark underbelly of workplace evil, where rivalry romance and the abuse of power culminates in a brutal slaying."
