Congratulations Maddie Poppe!

Maddie has been working hard for weeks, and now it's time (more than ever) for us to show our support.

As a finalist for 'American Idol,' Maddie gets a parade in her honor. She will also be performing in a free concert this evening.

Here is all the information about today's festivities in Clarksville.

Schedule for today:

  • 6:30 p.m. - Free concert, The Grandstand, Butler County Fairgrounds, 214 South Main St. in Allison. Watch it live HERE.

  • In Clarksville, there will be volunteers at all major road closures to help guide people on where to drive and where to park
  • On the parade route (pictured), the black circle is where 'American Idol' will be filming. People are encouraged to gather around that area
  • The concert will last approximately an hour. "American Idol" will be filming.
  • There will be bleacher seating and grandstand seating for 5,000 people, plus standing room near the stage and areas for lawn chairs. Seating is first-come, first-served.

Butler County/Clarksville also says, "We expect a large crowd. Please allow yourself plenty of time to park before the concert. If you’re coming to the concert only, come early and support the food vendors! Please, no alcoholic beverages permitted at the event."

Many people have been mowing yards and hanging signs to get ready to welcome Maddie home!
