Rare white deer spotted

Posted: Updated:

A rare white deer has been spotted in southeast Wisconsin.

At least three people say they've seen the deer recently and it was caught on camera near an apple orchard. People in Wisconsin say its an amazing sight to see.

"When you see something like that on TV or in a picture or video, its one thing. But, when you see it in real life it's like, 'Did I really see that?' And it shocked me, " said Layne Lovell.

According to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, it's illegal to capture or kill an all-white deer or an albino deer.

There is a difference between the two; white deer aren't as rare and albino deer typically have pink eyes.

People say the deer appears to have brown eyes.
