DUBUQUE (KWWL) -

The Dubuque Fire Department says there is no danger to the public, after an apparent natural gas leak forces four houses to be evacuated as a precaution.

Fire crews say a natural gas line was most likely struck on Monday evening around 6:08 p.m. by an underground directional drilling company working in the area of West 3rd Street between North Grandview Avenue and College Street in Dubuque. The department says an energy crew is now on the scene fixing the leak.
