JOHNSON COUNTY (KWWL) -

Sheriff's deputies in Johnson County say an SUV and a school bus collided on Monday afternoon north of Solon, but no one involved was hurt in the accident.

The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office says the collision happened along Highway 1, at the intersection of 140th Street shortly after 2:30 p.m.

Deputies say the northbound SUV was slowing down for another vehicle that was turning west off of Highway 1 and onto 140th Street when the Solon school bus collided with the SUV. The bus was also going north. The SUV came to a rest in a roadside ditch to the northwest of the intersection. It is unclear how many students were on the bus at the time of the crash, but none of them were injured. Neither were either of the drivers, according to sheriff's deputies.

The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office, Johnson County Ambulance and Solon First responders all responded to the scene of the collision.
