UPDATE: Two hurt in Cedar Rapids shooting

CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -

UPDATE: Cedar Rapids Police say two people were shot around 7:56 p.m. Thursday night in the 400 block of 15th Street Southeast.

Officers say the two victims were taken by ambulance to an area hospital from the scene, with what appear to be non-life threatening injuries. Neither has been identified tonight.

Police say no one is in custody in the shooting at this time, as the investigation into what happened continues.

Police say two people are hurt following a shooting in Cedar Rapids.

Officers in Cedar Rapids say they were called to the scene of the shooting in the area of 5th Avenue Southeast and 15th Street Southeast on Thursday evening, and two people are now being treated for what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries.

Police say more information will be available on the situation soon.
