VIDEO: Police looking for drivers of stolen truck that crashed into store

Police say a stolen truck was used to crash through the front of a Sprint store in an apparent attempted burglary.

Cedar Rapids police say the incident happened on April 19, around 3:30 a.m.. That's when police were dispatched to the Sprint store located at 2210 Edgewood Road SW. They say the building was significantly damaged. The store's video surveillance captured the truck backing into the store's front window and through displays before driving away.

In the video, the driver doesn't exit the truck. Police said another person was also in the vehicle but it has been challenging to identify the two.

Police are asking for assistance in tracking them down and suggest that the two in question may have recently spoken about the incident.
