Cedar Falls Tigers lead Iowa City West at half of state title game, 27-21

Cedar Falls used runs of 7-0 and 11-0 and leads Iowa City West, 27-21 at halftime of the Boys Class 4A State Championship game at Wells Fargo in Arena.

It's the first time in Cedar Falls school history that the Tiger boys are in the Class 4A title game. 

The Tigers opened the game on a 7-0 run and have led the entire game.

An 11-0 run in the second quarter gave Cedar Falls a 27-14 lead at one point, before the Trojans began to find their offense.

Patrick McCaffrey leads Iowa City West with 11, and his 3-pointer ignited a late Trojan run just before half.
