Eastern Iowa couple charged with selling heroin

An eastern Iowa couple has been charged with distributing and helping to distribute heroin in the Cedar Rapids area. 

A Complaint filed on March 5, 2018 says Dino Harrington, age 31, and Tiffany Youngblood, age 39, of Cedar Rapids, distributed, aided and abetted the distribution of heroin. 

If convicted, both Harrington and Youngblood could face a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison, a $1,000,000 fine, $100 in special assessments and at least three years and up to a lifetime term of supervised release after any prison time. 

Yesterday, Harrington and Youngblood were in federal court in Cedar Rapids. Both are being held without bond pending a detention hearing scheduled for March, 9.
