Dubuque man pleads guilty to heroin distribution charge

A Dubuque man has pleaded guilty in federal court for distributing heroin and cocaine.

Gregory Fugi Anderson, Jr., 31, admitted to authorities that he was going to sell heroin and cocaine near Orange Park in Dubuque on November 17, 2017.

According to the United States attorney’s office, Northern District of Iowa, he was stopped by police while walking down the street.  Anderson agreed to let them search him.  Police found multiple packages of heroin and cocaine on him.

He faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 1 year imprisonment and a possible maximum sentence of 60 years’ in prison.

Also, a $4 million fine, $100 in special assessments, and at least 6 years of supervised release.
