48 students from four Cedar Valley high schools are having their art showcased in Veridian Credit Union’s branch on Ansborough Avenue in Waterloo. They’re among 150 students across Iowa selected by their school’s art department leaders to take part in the Veridian ArtShare program.

“We have some very talented young artists in our community,” said Julie Gage, who oversees the ArtShare program in Waterloo. “ArtShare gives us a chance to recognize their talents and share an appreciation for their work with our community.”

Art departments from Cedar Falls, Columbus, Waterloo East and Waterloo West high schools selected approximately 50 pieces to display at the Ansborough branch.  In total, 150 pieces, which have been professionally framed or encased, will be displayed at Veridian branches in Ankeny, Cedar Rapids, Coralville, Waterloo and Waverly for one year.
