Spilled corn and broken axle cause two car accident

When an axle breaks and spills corn, it causes a two vehicle accident. 

Early Friday, February 16, around 2:30 a.m. a semi overturned, and spilled corn all over the roadway when the front axle of the semi broke. The accident happening at Highway 30 and Highway 13.

The driver of the semi was Michael Wolfe of Manchester, and was not hurt. 

The spilled corn on the roadway caused a second accident. Nicole Crane of Springville lost control of her vehicle driving through the corn. She spun out ending in the ditch hitting a tree. She was taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries. 

Neither driver was cited for the accident.
