LINN COUNTY (KWWL) -

Two men, who stole guns from two federally licensed firearms dealers, were sentenced yesterday to more than ten years in prison.

John Gillespie, 19, from Cedar Rapids and Jeremy Reynolds, 18, from Hiawatha received the sentences after pleading guilty to two counts of theft.

Gillespie and Reynolds admitted to breaking into two businesses in June 2017. In total, they stole 60 guns from two stores, America's Second Amendment Firearms in Cedar Rapids and Midwest Shooting in Hiawatha.

In addition to the prison sentence, they also have to pay almost $13,000 to the two businesses and serve three years of supervised release.
