CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) -

A driver is accused leading officers on a chase across Iowa.

The Black Hawk County Sheriff's Office says at about 1:45 a.m. Tuesday morning, a deputy attempted to stop a truck driver near the intersection of Hudson Road and Erik Road in Cedar Falls. Officers say the driver refused stop and led officers on a chase.

It lasted about 20 minutes, and officers say speeds reached up to 100 miles per hour at times.

The chase ended in a rural Grundy County field.

Officers later learned the truck had been stolen last week, just outside of Cedar Falls.

Deputies say 20-year-old Jesse Hall, of Cedar Falls, was driving the truck. He's facing several charges including eluding, possession of stolen property, and carrying weapons. He was also issued multiple traffic citations.

Officers also say the passenger, 19-year-old Chloe Adams, of Waterloo, was arrested for interference with official acts.

Both were taken to the Black Hawk County jail.
