An early morning crash in Linn County closes down one lane of a highway.

Around 4:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 13, emergency crews in Linn County responded to a call of a semi flipped on it side along Highway 13 and Indian Bridge Road. Crews found a grain semi that had lost control, and tipped on its side into the median, causing the load of corn to spill on the highway.

The driver of the semi, 21-year-old, Kody Orcutt, was taken to St. Luke's Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. He was wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash.

No other vehicles or people were involved.

One lane of southbound Highway 13, in Linn County, will be shut down to remove the semi and corn this morning.
