Tonight is a Night to Shine for so many across the country.  Night to Shine, a prom night experience for people 14 and older with special needs, will be held at 540 churches.

3 of those churches are in our KWWL viewing area.  Hope Evangelical Church in Dubuque, St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Marion and Washington United Methodist Church in Washington.

The night is organized by the Tim Tebow Foundation, celebrating the lives of those with special needs, centered around faith, hope and love. Tebow is a former professional American football quarterback and current professional baseball player with the New York Mets.  Tebow is a Christian and works to promote his message of "loving Jesus and loving people" through the work his foundation does to impact lives.

Night to Shine organizers estimate over 90,000 guests will attend tonight's Night to Shine collectively.
