Katie Orlando, CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Iowa, continues to lead the agency to new heights, as she has been appointed to two national leadership roles by Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. The agency had already been named a Pinnacle Agency for having one of the best and most sustainable programs in the country for a third year in a row.

Orlando has now been appointed to serve on their Nationwide Leadership Council.  In this role, Orlando will represent nearly 120 Midwest agencies, assisting in the development and implementation of nationwide plans and programs. And, in addition to her role as CEO, Orlando will also now serve as the Director of National Rural Initiatives.  She will lead the organization goal to engage in new partnerships with national corporations over the next five years, focusing on rural, under-served communities.

Orlando's accomplishments in northeast Iowa with BBBSNEIA have been impressive.  In just her first two and a half years, she has grown the agency's capacity by 145% and their operating revenue by 197%.
