MARSHALLTOWN (KWWL) -
The Marshall County Sheriff's Office is sharing a picture of a potentially dangerous situation, calling it a "recipe for disaster."
They posted an image on Facebook from a traffic stop, which shows a driver was going 95 in a 55 mile an hour zone, while the road was partially snow covered.
Their post reads: "This is an example of dangerous behavior that contributes to preventable crashes. The driver this morning was traveling in the left lane of U.S. Hwy 30 in Marshall County, which was 75% snow and ice covered. Thankfully, this intervention occurred prior to tragic consequences. Slow down, the life you save may be your own! (*Photo taken while stopped)"
