Iowa teen enjoying Super Bowl experience

Posted: Updated:

An eastern Iowa boy and his father will soon be sitting down to watch the Super Bowl in person.

Waucoma teenager, Logan Manderfield, was given two tickets to the big game by the Lynch Family Foundation.

Logan has Muscular dystrophy, and for the last few years his family has been raising money and awareness through a 5-K run in the Turkey Valley area.

If you'd like to see his initial reaction to the news in a story we reported earlier this week, you can click here.

We also reported a story about how Logan was the Kid captain for the Hawkeyes.

Logan's mom, Lindsey, says Logan and his dad are enjoying the pre-game party that kicked off at 1 p.m., and they will likely be finding their seats by 4 p.m. to see the game.

According to Logan's family, each ticket was $2,100.
