CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -

We are learning more about the woman killed in a wrong-way crash on I-380 Monday night.

28-year-old Jennifer Koenighain was on her way home from a yoga class in North Liberty when she was struck by a wrong-way driver.

Koenighain had been in the process of renovating a home with her boyfriend Steve Goedken.

"She picked out the paint color, she painted all the trim white, she got all the decorations on the walls," Goedken told us.

Regarding the tragedy he told us "Everybody's just completely heartbroken."

Goedken tells us Koenighain always put others before herself.

"She was an incredible girlfriend but she was also an incredible aunt, she loved her parents more than, more than anyone could possibly know."

He says she was adventurous, gentle and kind.

Goedken read us a post Koenighain had posted on her Facebook page.

"I have the best friends and family ever made. I am exactly who I want to be. I could spend every day on the beach. I believe in love and sarcasm. And she had plenty of love to give and sarcasm to give so that was what she wrote about herself and I think she described herself better than any of us possibly could."

Koenighain's memorial service is scheduled for tomorrow morning at 11 a.m. it will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cedar Rapids.
