A photograph which many believe changed the course of the Vietnam war.

50-years ago today, February 1, 1968, Associated Press Photographer, Eddie Adams, clicked the shutter release on his camera and captured one of the most powerful images of the Vietnam war. 

The photo shows the execution of a Vietcong fighter at 1/500th of a second.
