Peacock turned away from airport, passenger claims it's an emotional support animal

Posted: Updated:

It may have wings, but it couldn't take flight... on an airplane, that is.

A peacock was turned away at a New Jersey airport this past weekend.

A passenger claimed it was an emotional support animal. The passenger was reportedly told a number of times that the bird would not be able to fly, before arriving at the airport.

United Airlines also said, they know some travelers require emotional support animals, but those people must provide medical documentation 48 hours prior to their flight.
