GILBERTVILLE (KWWL) -

Don Bosco caught fire on Monday night as the 5th ranked Dons rolled past number four Dunkerton 62-39. The Dons avenged their only conference loss on the season and tied the Raiders on top of the Iowa Star Conference standings.

After the two teams played even for the first six minutes, the Dons got things rolling late in the first quarter and used a spurt to take a 30-16 halftime lead. Dunkerton, meanwhile, never managed to even pull within single digits in the second half.

Sean McFadden led the way with 14 points, while Zach Nie and Jack Kelley each chipped in 12 for the Dons. Nie surpassed 1,000 career points on a first quarter three-pointer.
