Eastern Iowa town's Christmas tree vandalized

A town in eastern Iowa says their Christmas tree was vandalized.

The city of Monona posted this picture to Facebook, asking people for help. 

They say someone knocked over and damaged their Christmas tree and lights.

They believe it happened on Sunday. If you have any information, give police a call.

Below is what their Facebook Page says:

 WE ARE ASKING FOR THE PUBLIC'S HELP: Sometime between 12:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. on Sunday Dec. 3rd the Christmas tree and lights in the bandstand at the City Park were intentionally knocked over, taken down and damaged. If you have any information please call the Monona PD (539-4400) or City Hall (539-2355). Matt at MJ's Bar & Grill will give one $25 Gift Certificate to someone who is able to help us catch who did this.
