Rick: "Good evening I am Rick Coleman here with the Head Football coach of the Northern Iowa Panthers Mark Farley...UNI is coming off an impressive victory over Youngstown State last Saturday at the UNI-Dome and this week the Panthers will be hitting the road for a huge game at North Dakota State--but first let's talk about Youngstown State Coach.very impressive effort."

Mark: "I was very pleased I thought our defense was outstanding--had ten sacks and I really feel good about what our offense did moving the football --statiscally Marcus Weymiller had a huge game overall it was a very good game."

Rick: "Marcus Weymiller running for more than a 100 yards for the second week in a row..certainly some great continuity to the offense didn't make any mistakes --no fumbles or interceptions.."

Mark: "We are keeping the penalties limited and we are not turning the ball over the last few weeks so that always help win ball games particularly on offense and then we have been aggressive on defense--so that has been a good recipe.."

Rick: "You talk about playing complimentary football and it seemed like the offense and defense were working hand in hand on Saturday."

Mark: "We are much more in tuned the last few weeks. offense defense and special teams wise you see a lot more continuity-instead of just seeing one piece of the puzzle you see the wholes thing coming together I think we are making good decisions as players and we are putting good plans together.."

Rick: "To get that many sacks you have to have good coverage down field--Obviously you do."

Mark: "Yeah that is what I always said when you get sacks one of two things is happening--it is a coverage sack with outstanding coverage downfield or someone got loose and got to the QB before the coverage could break down..so its a team win."

Rick: " Every game in the Valley is a tough one and there is another tough one this week at second ranked North Dakota State--team you know very well a program you know very well kind of enough said there."

Mark: "Well there is and their Number 2, we went number 7 and then number 9 and now number 2. So we have to do a great job we go to their place that's always an experience going there and playing in their environment but all in all you have to go there and play your game."

Rick: "Easton Stick their QB has done very well and then Lance Dunn Junior from Waterloo West is really running the ball well 12 touchdowns this season.."

Mark: "Yeah he has had a really nice year he kind of came into his own...this past season so he is having a nice year."

Rick: "The NDSU defense you kind of look into a mirror of yourself in way..."

Mark: "Yeah there is a lot of similarities for both football team these are great football games..We have our work cut out for us..."

Rick: " Going into their environment, Fargo Dome I know it is a crazy, loud environment much like the UNI-Dome, is there a way to prepare for that?"

Mark: "I don't know that is a place you have to experience so hopefully the players that have been there can help the players who haven't also we have some coaches going into that environment for the first time too so you can say its loud but until you have been there you need to experience it."

Rick: "Good luck coach Farley and the Panthers--Go get them Coach!"

Mark: "Thank You.."
