Dubuque firefighters put out house fire quickly

DUBUQUE (KWWL) -

The Dubuque Fire Department put out a blaze at an empty, two-story house late Wednesday night.

They were called to the structure fire at 1238 Jackson St. just before 11:40 p.m.

According to a press release, fire crews found a fire on the second story of the house and were able to put it out within ten minutes of arriving.

Nobody was in the building and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
