WATERLOO (KWWL) -

Waterloo Police are looking for help in finding a handgun, allegedly used in a shots fired incident at Fusion Bar.

Police were called to the bar off of Bourland Avenue on Saturday around 9 p.m. They say Rasim Husidic, of Waterloo, got into a verbal fight with his estranged girlfriend inside the bar. That when he pointed a handgun at her and the bartender. Police say someone at the bar tried to step in the way, but that person was pistol whipped. Then Husidic tried to shoot that person, but the pistol malfunctioned.

Husidic left the bar, with police later finding him at a location in the 1100 block of Grant Ave a little while later. A search warrant was issued at that location, but the pistol was not found.

If you live in the area of Fusion Bar, 1915 Bourland Ave, and 1151 Grant Ave, police are asking you to check your property for a handgun. According to Captain Dave Mohlis, he asks if you find the gun to not handle it but call police immediately.
