The Floyd County Sheriff's office is reminding drivers about the dangers of drowsy driving after a rollover crash early Sunday morning.

The accident happened on the Ave of Saints West of Rudd Sunday morning before 7 a.m. Authorities say the driver feel asleep. Three people from Illinois were injured and transported to Mason City.

The Sheriff's office posted this message to their Facebook page

"A reminder to please be aware of tired driving. Get plenty of sleep before traveling, change drivers, stop and take breaks.

Also, please move over and slow down when approaching any flashing lights ahead. We had a vehicle pass us (1 deputy, 2 troopers, 2 ambulances and 4 fire trucks) on the scene at 68mph when we we're down to only 1 lane of traffic. Everyone's life is important!"

The Floyd County Sheriff's Office, Iowa State Patrol, Rudd and Nora Springs Fire Department all responded.
