WATERLOO (KWWL) -

An eastern Iowa dad goes above and beyond for Halloween.

He decided to donate pumpkins to every student and teacher at one Waterloo school.

Isador Anderson said his son is in second grade at Lincoln Elementary in Waterloo.

His son asked if they could donate little pumpkins to his class. The dad decided to take things a step further.

He bought around 650 little pumpkins to donate to all the students at the school.

He also got around 20 bigger pumpkins to donate to the teachers.

He says he decided to do this because Halloween is his favorite holiday, and he loves seeing the smiles on the kids' faces when they get their free pumpkins.

He adds that school can be stressful, so he hopes this will help them stay positive.

Anderson ended up buying the pumpkins from Family Market Place in Waterloo.

The students were able to decorate their pumpkins during family night on Tuesday.
