UPDATE: Name released in deadly Linn County crash

We now know the name of a man killed in a crash in Linn County on Thursday.
Sheriff's Deputies say 75-year-old William Zahn, from Cedar Rapids, died after his Chevy Trailblazer wrecked.
The Linn County Sheriff's Office is still investigating.

One person has died in a crash Thursday morning in Linn County.

The sheriff's office says a Chevy Trailblazer was on West Mt. Vernon Road when it went off the road, into a ditch, hit a driveway and then rolled before coming to rest in a field.

Investigators say the driver was the only one in the vehicle.

Their name has not been released.

Emergency crews are on the scene of a deadly car crash this morning in Linn County. 

The Linn County Sheriff's Office says it happened in the 1000 block of West Mount Vernon Road and is a one vehicle accident.

They also say traffic is slow in the area at this time.
