UNI runs 12th after first 36 holes

OVERLAND PARK, Kansas - The University of Northern Iowa men's golf team finished in 12th place following the opening 36 holes at the 2017 Bill Ross Intercollegiate.

The Panthers finished with a team score of 604 on Monday at Milburn Golf & Country Club.

Leading the Panthers tied for ninth place is Sam DeBartolo after finishing 1-over (73) in round one and even (72) in round two. 

Marshal Lamb finished tied for 45th place after shooting 151 on the day.

Both Jared Rowe and Andrew Wood are tied for 60th place after shooting 154 on day one.

Carter Stochl shot 8-over (80) and 5-over (77) on the day, landing him in 65th place.

UNI will play the final 18 holes on Tuesday.
