A big rivalry game in class 4A district 5, Fifth ranked Cedar Falls visits Waterloo West.

The Tigers are coming off a 35-6 win over Cedar Rapids Washington to remain unbeaten in the district.

West suffered an upset loss to Cedar Rapids Jefferson to fall into a 4-way tie for second place.

It is senior night for the Wahawks and tonight Cedar Falls and West took the field two hours early to be the severe weather..

And the cedar falls defense comes to play...Ben Gerdes breaks through and sacks West quarterback Tanner Pollock...

And tiger quarter Luke Gillett getting warmed up...

The Cedar Falls offense is ready... Gillett hands it to Sam Gary who runs untouched for the ten yard score... 7-0 Tigers midway thru the first quarter.

Later Waterloo West with a mistake on special teams.. Adijan Muhamedagic botches the snap giving CF good field position...

This leads to a Matthew Cook 43 yard field goal.... it is 10 to nothing Cedar Falls.

The Tiger defense continues to wreak havoc on the Wahawk offense... Jack Campbell and company sack Pollock again...

And then Luke Gillett finds Logan Wolf on a streaking through the West secondary for 35 yards inside the five yard line.

Cedar Falls fullback Jace Rea bulls his way into the end zone to make 17-0 Cedar Falls in the second quarter.

And before the end of the half the Tigers' Blake Christensen picks off Pollock and returns the ball deep into West territory.

Luke Gillett scores on a short quarterback keeper to give Cedar Falls a 24-0 lead at halftime...

This game was delayed by weather... But Cedar Falls finished off a 38-0 victory.
