Escape Room to open in Dubuque

Posted: Updated:

A new entertainment venue is opening in the Tri-states.

Escape Room Dubuque is a game site, where visitors use clues to figure out puzzles, unlock secret compartments and solve riddles in order to exit rooms, before a set amount of time expires.

The first two planned themes include a Motel Mystery and Casino Heist.

The business is in partnership with Woodward Communications Inc., parent company of the Telegraph Herald.

“We are always looking for ways to extend our offerings to reach new audiences,” said Steve Fisher, publisher of TH Media. "This is an entirely new business for us, and we are excited to provide a fun and incredible experience for families, friends and co-workers.”

Escape rooms are made for up to 10 people, and are open to all ages. Guests under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

The venue is scheduled to be open by the end of October.
