Iowa City Animal Services looking for dog after biting incident

Iowa City Animal Services is looking for your help to find a dog and its owner after a recent bite.

It happened around 8 a.m. near the northwest corner of Lucas and Ronalds Streets.

The victim says he was walking his dog on a leash, when he noticed another person coming his way with her dog.

The other person allegedly dropped the leash, and her dog attacked the victim's dog. The victim was bit trying to break up the fight.

The dog involved in the incident is described as a brown, 60 lb. Pit Bull, referred to as "Archie." 

The person walking the dog was described a woman in her 20s. 

Animal Services wants to verify the dog's rabies vaccination status.
