Authorities say they're working to learn more information about a person who was hit Saturday night near Highway 380 and Highway 20.

We called Waterloo police to see whether they had any new information to release about the person, their condition, and what happened; but they said they didn't have any further information to report.

Authorities are responding to an incident at Highway 380 and Highway 20.

A witnesses tells KWWL he called 911 at 7:47 p.m. for a person in the road, and it looked like a driver may have hit someone in that area.

According to authorities, they received a call about a man in flannel walking down the road, and moments later, someone else called and said someone hit the person.

We had a reporter on scene trying to get information and capture video, but authorities asked us to leave because of the heavy traffic.
