STRING OF THEFTS: Wisconsin suspect arrested in Waterloo

WATERLOO (KWWL) -

A man is arrested in Waterloo, after he allegedly stole a woman's motorcycle in Wisconsin.

The Dane County Sheriff's Office says 19-year-old Teri Brayton was arrested in Waterloo.

Earlier this week, a woman in Mazomanie, Wisconsin had her motorcycle for sale. Brayton allegedly showed up as if he was going to buy it. That's when he asked the woman if he could take it around for a test drive. He apparently never came back.

Officers say the suspect left a car behind. Inside the car was a puppy. Police discovered that the car was stolen from another state. It also had stolen plates. The Wisconsin woman discovered on Facebook that the puppy had been stolen from a man's front yard in Illinois.

Brayton is now in the Black Hawk County jail.

The stolen motorcycle was recovered, and the puppy was reunited back with its owner.
