CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) -

A Cedar Falls man is battling a rare disease.

Daniel Wilson Is battling Trigeminal Neuralgia, or TN. It causes intense pain in the face.

Wilson was finally able to get surgery to reduce some of the pain. He says, however, there is not cure for TN.

Art has helped through his battle with this rare disease.

He created an art show to educate others about what he's going through.

He says at times, it feels as if you want to have all your teeth pulled out.

The art show is on display at Cup of Joe on Main Street in Cedar Falls. It's titled, "Pain - My Journey with TN."

The display will be up in Cup of Joe throughout the month of October. October is Trigeminal Neuralgia Awareness Month.

This is Wilson's first art show in Iowa.
