IOWA CITY (KWWL) -

Trace McSorley broke Hawkeye hearts on Saturday night. The Penn State quarterback hit Juwon Johnson on the final play of the game as Penn State walked off with a 21-19 win over the Hawkeyes.

The play came less than 2 minutes after Akrum Wadley's 35 yard touchdown gave Iowa the lead 19-15.

It capped a back and forth contest that saw Iowa lead 7-5 at halftime despite just 54 yards of offense. The Hawkeyes scored late in the second quarter as Nate Stanley hit Nick Easley on a 21 yard strike which was set up by a Josey Jewell interception on the previous play.

Saquon Barkley put up big numbers on the Hawkeyes for a second straight year. The Penn State running back tallied 368 all-purpose yards along with one touchdown. Akrum Wadley led Iowa with 80 rushing and 75 receiving yards to go along with his two touchdowns in the game.
